Set world scale 3d is broken?

When i change the scale of a physics simulating mesh inside of a blueprint with the set world scale 3d the object will start spinning like crazy with a pivot point located on one of the ends of the mesh (which is not the origin point of either the blueprint or the mesh itself). I want to know why would this happen. If you need any photos or videos tell me how to post them here because i never posted photos or videos to this site before. Thanks.
