VR works in VR Preview, but not in Standalone - Used to work in 4.18

Hi All,

I recently upgraded our project from 4.18 to 4.20 and I’ve found that when selecting Standalone from the same list that contains play, simulate, pie etc - the launched standalone isn’t launching in VR despite Start in VR being set to true, and it previously working in 4.18.

It’s critical that I’m able to launch the game in standalone this way due to multiplayer code (seamless travel doesn’t work in PIE).

Any known bugs or fixes would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for letting me know. I might avoid posting this one as a bug as I noticed that an old bug tracker was marked as “won’t fix” for a similar bug - apparently if you used to play the game in vr preview, it would block vr in standalone, which I think I vaguely remember having to work around a few months ago.

For now I’m just going to move over to Non-seamless travel so I can test networking in VR Preview
