How to tunnel into landscape?

I am building my first landscape in Rocket, and want to put a tunnel through a section of my mountain.
This doesn’t work via CSG brushes. Is there a way to do this or do I need to additively build several components to form the bottom, sides, and top?

Landscape is based on polygons. You can’t subtract or add like in BSP or Voxels. What you need to is delete polygons from Lanscape where you want you entertance to be.

Then you can use Static meshes to fill up entire tunnel, or use another landscape to make floor and static meshes for roof and walls.

have you tried the visibility tool in Landscape? this was the way to do it in UDK so I guess it’s the same (if implemented already)

You’ll need to use the visibility loot, then use meshes to make the tunnel.
