Retarget base pose depends on preview mesh?

Hello,

When retargeting animations, the retarget base pose seems to depend on the preview skeletal mesh selected.

If i prepare this pose using one specific skeletal mesh, then it is remembered only for this mesh. If i choose some other preview mesh, the pose is not there anymore and comes back only when the initial skeletal mesh is selected for preview.

I find that surprising as i thought this pose was a skeleton property, not a skeletal mesh property.

Is that normal ? If so, anyone cares to explain ?
