New 4.20 Depth of Field method crashes high-res screenshot

I’m trying to take very high resolution screenshots for print (say, >10k horizontal pixels), but the editor crashes with the new 4.20 cinematic DOF.

The previous method works fine (Circle DOF in 4.19), and the other available methods also don’t result in any crashes. It only happens with the new DOF.

When I don’t have a lot of pixels out of focus, there is a chance it doesn’t crash, but a blurry picture is a guaranteed crash.
