Emit particles from opacity mask

Hey everyone :slight_smile:

I’m trying to create a dissolving effect on npcs and I’d like them to emit particles from the areas that are dissolving.
Is there a way to create a surface emitter and have it only emit on the edge where the model goes from visible to invisible?

For the dissolve effect I’m using this as a jumping off point:


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Currently it’s not possible but it has been requested in the past,as far as i can remember, so you’ll have it eventually.
