Black Edges when using Distance Field Shadows

Only when using Distance Field Shadows on my directional light do I get this:

The black edges seem only to show up when facing a close object on the side of the shadow. This only happens when using Distance Field Shadows on a directional light, and only happens in this version of UE4.

Edit: The black edges appear everywhere, not only on the sides of shadows.

Are you using a forward renderer?

I was when I first noticed the problem, however after disabling forward rendering the problem persisted.
