Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey C,

When you first download a project from the Marketplace, it goes to your Vault. You can find the contents of the Vault here: C:\Program Files\Unreal Engine\Launcher\VaultCache. From the Launcher, after first downloading the sample project to your Vault, you can create a new project from the sample by clicking Create Project. This will allow you to choose the location for your new project, which will let you make as many changes as you want and still preserve the original sample project.

Hope that helps!

When i click Create Project, it says it does, but it's not showing up in My Projects...I'm trying to create the project on another drive, but doesn't seem to let me. If I create the project on my C: then it works....please advise

When you click Create Project, it should give you the option of where to put the project. You can then choose a location on a second drive. Are you experiencing something different? If so, please open a new post in the Bug Reports section and we can address the issue there. Thanks!
