  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.

How to scale static mesh along two sides of x axis?

Hi Expert,

I am trying to stretch a static mesh in XY plane by set scale value for X, Y, but found it always extend along one side based on center pointer, such as show in the picture as below. Do i need to set pivot or are there any method to make it extend from two sides based on its center point?Thanks very much. alt text

Strange... The scale usually works exactly the way you want it to. (extends on all sides based on its origin)

What kind of plane are you using? Is this one of the engine content or you have imported it from somewhere?

Does it behave the same with some of the provided meshes like Cube_1M?
