Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Why Does UE4 Freeze While Building Lods?

I have been having issues with UE4 Freezing up while trying to build LODs or Proxy LODs. When I start the building process, it begins the building of the LODs (on any map) then will stop and hang up after 22 seconds. I have even waited for three days to pass and still sitting on 22 seconds and unable to do any thing with the Engine. I even have issues similar while trying to build the lighting. Any one have any ideas why this is happening or how to solve this?

Product Version: UE 4.19

My pc is not really the best in the gaming world but does great all the same. Currently have Sabertooth P67 motherboard, 32 GB DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Ram, GeForce GTX 960 TI GPU with SSD Drives. Hope this helps. I have not have this type of issue until I started using UE4.19 I do admit I can use a newer GPU but not able to at the moment due to financial issues at the moment. Cards cost too much and disability income too low. :(
