Packaging fails in 4.4 Preview

Hello,
When I want to package my project in 4.4 Preview it fails with the following error:

I have tried all the 3 packaging methods. All give the same error.

Is this a bug?

Thank you for reporting this issue. Just need a bit more information so I can attempt a repro for your issue. What device are you attempting to deploy to and what OS version is that device on? Have you ever been able to package a project before in UE4?

What template are you using for your project? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Top Down Template. VS Professional 2013 without update 2. Installing that now. Windows 8.1. Yes on 4.2.1 packaging worked fine.

Update 2 does nothin

Try going to your project settings and setting the global default server game mode to something other than None.

I’ve been having issues getting 4.4 to package and deploy to my iPhone for the last few hours. After seeing lots of other people having issues and no good answers, I thought I’d post what I found seems to work (for now at least).

In …Projects//Build/IOS I had 2 .plist files for some reason. One named and one named info. No idea where these come from, but I had noticed that when editing the Project settings in editor that info.plist was the one that got checked out. So, on a hunch I deleted the other one and tried packaging again and it worked.

Not sure where that came from and not sure why it was an issue, but maybe that will help someone else.

No I dont think so because I am deploying to PC but I will give it a shot.

Ok still the same error unfortunately. Till this is getting solved I am going to stay away from 4.4. Really a shame I like umg a lot.

even deleting libogg_64.dll and verifying the engine from the launcher, thus redownloading libogg_64.dll from your servers does not work

Are you currently part of the Apple developer program? You need their drivers to be able to package and deploy.

Yes but I am deploying to windows so I should not need them
