Material instance stops working issue...
I have a blueprint with a mesh component that I have create a material instance named-variable for functions at runtime. But if one of the events that changes the material with a "Set Material" node, then back to the original material referenced in the material instance, it no longer performs the material functions targeting the instance. I tried adding another Create Dynamic Material, and then set that as the materials instance variable but that's a no go. What's the proper way to change a material but still use a material instance when changed back? Thanks.
