How do I get my texture mapping to work?

Right from the start I get all of these errors messages come up when I try to map my images to a material. They all seem to be relating to Xcode which Unreal prompted and suggested to download. Can any one help me out to get me going here please?

Thanks!

At a glance it seems that your video card does not support ShaderModel 5, how old is the GPU? I might be completely wrong on this, though.

Thanks for getting back to me here. I can’t imagine it being that… I’m using a 2017 Mac Pro so I would imagine it has all the power it needs from every angle? I uninstalled all of the Xcode stuff from my machine and there doesn’t seem to be much of a problem at the moment but it says the Xcode is to help it run smoother… maybe because I’m just starting out and my scene is not nearly big enough for this to make a difference yet but possibly in the future I would need this to work… either way I’m sure the problem is within the Xcode program? I’m no programmer and everything to do with it goes miles over my head! So any help would be seriously appreciated

Which version do u use, binary one or source code?

I’ve seen folk try to run UE4 on 10 year old machines with and integrated GPU only. And the material editor instantly complains about the Shader Model, and rightly so. That’s not the case, here, obviously.

Not an expert on MacIssues, gonna tap out here and let someone knowledgeable handle it.

Before I go, consider checking this one out, though:
