Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Have you tried out other kind of light? Point light for example.

Hey there CKong, you can see in my lightmass screenshot there's a point light already there too and doesn't seem to cause an issue, but im after a spotlight since this will be a art gallery room and needs to shine on the art works.

Well in the end it looks like my spotlight was actually inside the light 3d model.

so moving it forward fixed everything

alt text

problem is it makes the volumetric light not look right

maybe that's just what I have to live with then, unless other people have had to solve something similar?

You could maybe use a volume material for your volumetric fog instead of relying on the cone of your spotlight
