Branch in Sound Cue

Can someone explain how Branch in Sound Cue needs to be used?

You can either use a Parameter Switch or a Paramater Bool in the soundcue, as shown below, then use a matching Set Integer Param or Set Boolean Param in blueprint. They are pretty much the same in this case.

Note – you should link one of the two sounds into the Parameter Unset input or you’ll hear nothing (which is a bit bad user experience for us, but works if you know to do it).

It’s good to Spawn Sound and create a Variable for it, as shown in Pic 2. Make sure to check whether or not Auto Destroy tickbox should be on or off (if you want to refer to it repeatedly, probably best untick AutoDestroy).

hi this doesnt work for me i spent hours trying to get this running
i think the second sound is the problem for me
i dont know how to trigger this
i am trying to make a charging gun with heat up then loop while holding button then
release fire sound

ok got it after watching all metasound videos available in all universes
i switched to metasounds and in the end its quite easy with it
some screenshots if some1 has the same problem
