[BUG] Typing a second Capital letter can't be undone

Hey,

i don’t know if this is happening all the time, but if i Type in a Name for a Blueprint or a Variable and i write something like “TEst” (because i hold my caps a sec too long) he saves this and it can’t be undone.
Even if i dont hit enter and change the “E” to “e” instantly it will save the variable as “TEst”. Renaming it to “Test” also results in “TEst”

Thank you for the feedback. This is an issue that annoys me sometimes as well. I have entered it as TTP# 343869 in our tracking software and our developers will look into it.

I’m told that if you rename your variable TEst to something else like Toast, then are happy to save, compile, quit editor, reload and name Toast back to Test you’ll be fine. Little bit slow way to fix it, but hey. Or just don’t be FUssy.

This is correct. It is because of case-sensitivity. Something in the stack doesn’t understand the difference. I’ve seen this happen in various programs (is it a Windows thing?).

Just rename “TEst” to “Toast”, then rename again to “Test”.
