Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can't understand "Transform Direction" output

Hi, quick question!

Why is Transform Direction node, when I feed it with Y=1, it gives me X=-1?

Here is my setup: alt text

And here is an object preview: alt text

And also the results (green is forward vector and red is transformed direction): alt text

Why is that? Why isn't the world axis the same as the results from this function? How is it even possible that in all 4 directions it gives X or -X?!

I hope someone understands that better than me. Cheers!

Well, for the record, I got an answer from Tommy on Discord. Forward Vector is not a world vector so that's probably causing problems.
