How to make child bp with constrain?

Hi!

I have a robot that I want the tip (grey cylinder) to move with AI control. So i tried a child bp with PawnSensing but the yellow ball just move without affecting the robot bp. Is there any way to force the robot bp to follow the yellow ball?

How is your robot arm setup?

Is it a skeletal mesh or several static meshes?

I have two setup as you described, one skeleton witk IK and one with only mesh. My goal is to have a AI robot that can pick up things and solve problems on the white table. At the moment I’m working with skeleton version but i don’t know witch is the best approach.
