Reflection preview in material editor

In the material editor, the reflections are previewed using some default blue sky. Is there an option to change this to something custom?

Unfortunately there isn’t a way at the moment to change the reflection texture of the Material Editor. To see how it would look reflecting your level you will need to place it into the level. You can however hold L and Click-Drag in the preview window to move the light source to better inspect the material.

Thanks for the quick reply. A toggle to turn it off might be helpful. The biggest hindrance it creates is previewing cube map reflections. The blue from the default sky gets added to anything you might want to lerp in yourself.

I did a little more digging and found that we actually have a Feature Request to be able to disable and change the reflection material. Hopefully you will see this feature in a future version of the editor.
