  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to Set IES Intensity Scale VIA BluePrint?

Is there a way to set IES Intensity Scale for a spotlight VIA Blueprint?

I just need to turn a flashlight on and off and normally I would change the Spotlights intensity to zero to turn it off but the IES does not have a Blueprint option to change it.

Product Version: UE 4.20

Unfortunately the IES intensity scale is not exposed to blueprints. You could however still adjust the lights main intensity and also use set visibility with blueprints to turn a light on / off.

Steve SybrSyn , thank you soooo much for your answer, you are the man! This is the second time this week you have helped me. I am getting ready to send demo or polished vertical slice to Microsoft this week and am in a crunch and I really needed this.

The visibility worked perfect, I have always just set the regular intensity to turn on or off a light and did not even thing about visibility.

Have a great day and I hope I can repay the help you have given me one day.

Best Regards, John
