Need help with bow string location

hay all, I’m trying to update the bone of the bow string by using a static mesh at the location I want it called pullposition, in theory this should work, but it doesnt, I get an access none error at the set hand pull location and the bow string is off elsewhere, dont know why this doesnt qork, anyone got any ideas?

answered my own question, the reason why it was happening was because I had the pull position socketed to the string bone, removed it, now its fine.
