Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Trailing scarves like 'Journey'

Hi im looking to get a similar effect to the scarves from the PS3 game Journey, Ribbon trail seems to be the perfect effect however im having issues with the start and ending of the trail being very choppy. The flag 'Clip Source Segment (If true, the trail will not be joined to the source position)' has seemingly no effect and is exactly what i want, a section of the trail always joining the first node to the source.

Im looking for smooth waving scarves as characters run, not at all realistic cloth simulation. I hope ive explained this well enough, im having a hard time getting the effect right. It's not normal for the ribbon trail to act as i have it right with awkward chunks at the start and end where its spawning/killing the particles, makes the texture stutter along also ive found.

Appreciate the help, Cheers
