When plan expired, why still source but not release?

Hi,

I would like to know why, when the plan is expired, we still have the source ?

That’s great, I’m not complain  !! But I just don’t know why that’s not the same for releases in the launcher (we have just to compile from source to have the same result…) ?

NOTE : You’re doing a great job, I’ll probably apply again for a plan !

Best regards,

Valentin

Hello, valx76!

Do you still have access to the EpicGames/UnrealEngine repository? You are allowed to keep your own personal fork, but you shouldn’t have access to the EpicGames/UnrealEngine repository if your subscription ended.

Hello Jonathan,

I still have access to EpicGames/UnrealEngine (and UnrealTournament too) repository (with latest updates; the subscription stopped at 4.1, and I can download 4.4 sourcecode release), and my subscription has ended, I can confirm that !

So, it looks like it’s a bug… I have the same nickname at Github, if you need some more infos, ask me, if I can help you to solve that !

EDIT: Btw, I’m maybe in a particular case about the payment, the subscription stopped because of my credit card ending date, that can be the problem if you don’t see someone else with that bug…

Hi valx76,

Thank you very much for reporting this information. It has allowed us to identify an error which we expect to have fully patched up by sometime next week.

Cheers!

Hi Stephen,

Glad to hear that helped  !
Don’t hesitate to ask if you need someone to test the Github issue has been resolved when it’ll be done.

Best regards!

Just for info, we can still get the Github sources, if you think that is fixed…

Hi valx76,

Yeah, we decided not to rush the fix for this in order to make certain that everything was handled appropriately. We are still working on it, and the update will occur in maybe another week or so.

Thanks again.

Hi,

no problem Stephen, that’s just to inform you  !
Thanks for your answer!
