Issue with Live video Stream- MediaPlayer

Hello epic, I’ll try to explain the problem as simple as it is :slight_smile:

I have two setups :

-Two compuers, same perfs

-One UE project ( identical on both computer - 4.18 )

Two Brio 4K Stream Edition

On first computer, I can see my webcam in the MediaPlayer, and In Game

On the second one, I can’t see the webcam feed, instantly printing error : “The media failed to open, check output logs for details”, BUT nothing shows up in the Output log.

So i don’t understand HOW in two identical setup, one is working, and one isn’t. :frowning:

( I tried upgrade to .19 and .20, same issue )

EDIT: got a message in output log now :

LogWmfMedia: Error: Failed to create capture device media source: The system cannot find the path specified.
So how can i find the url/path of the webcam and make it work?

Did you manage to resolve this? I’m having the same issue with the BRIO.

Hey, actually i think it was a firmware issue, like :

first brio firmware wasn’t update
second brio was updated, and didn’t work

so my solution was to send the first camera to vietnam to replace the updated one x), so don’t ever update the firmware or anything i guess !
