Using the advanced vehicle template, if I set the vehicle mesh in the blueprint to use the async scene within the physics settings (after enabling it in the project), as soon as I try to run the game the editor fatally exits.
Is this a known problem, and is there a fix/workaround?
I’ve also tried in 4.21 preview with the same outcome.
The reason I’m trying to do this is as a result of another issue I have, where driving the vehicle over other physics objects that are on a terrain mesh cause everything to go unstable and fly around erratically. I’ve read that moving these objects to the async scene should help resolve this, but obviously I can’t check that with the game not even starting.
