Skybox solution makes objects disappear behind it when you move away from the object

Hi Guys

Ive got a weird culling problem, I think lol, i have managed to devise a way to get a skybox, with a altered material, to be as big as we need it to be, with no performance issues, but planets, object that are opaque, seem to disappear behind the skybox, if you move away from the object, and its not even close to being behind the skybox by a long shot,

now i have read that z-order is a issue and that some even claim to have used a inverse sphere with world aligned UV, no for the live of me i dont know what that means or even know where to even begin to build this, but im not stupid, just need a nudge in the right direction, and i can solve it, but just randomly changing checkboxes and redoing cube maps and lighting and even looking at transparency sorting is not the answer here,

there are some nifty workarounds but i dont believe in workarounds as they stack up and cause issues along the line,

what I find strange is the particle effects are unaffected by this phenomena, the particles work and display no matter the distance but the sphere object with the material disappears

i can really give you a image of the problem, if i need to ill make a plan, but some help would be so much appreciated

thanks in advance
