When you auto set the graphics level or when the popup comes up to tell you it will reset the graphics level it crashes the driver on Intel 3000 HD.

There are known performance problems with integrated cards such as the Intel 3000. We’re doing our best to improve the engine’s compatibility, but you’ll definitely find better results with a more modern card.
That said, I recommend updating your drivers if you haven’t done so recently. That’s been known to help users with similar probelms.
