Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Yes they are unchecked. The problem is also that if a drop the skeleton mesh in the viewport it won't display

I commented on your YouTube video, but didn't see this thread until now. Not sure why you're having this problem when exporting with Maya. It does look, in your YouTube video, that you ARE dragging something onto the scene. It just looks like it is very small.

But I know that UE4 and Maya are the 'correct' programs to use together... Or at least, the defaults meant for each other. I don't know much about Maya, but I know with Blender my FBX were usually a weird scale when I'd import them until I had switched to metric.

If you drag your character into the scene and keep it selected, in the Details window on UE4 do you see x,y,z coordinates? Can you fly into it with your camera and see if the model is simply very small?

I have one issue with some new meshes I made where the materials are invisible on ONE level... Other levels in my game the materials appear fine... but just one level the materials don't work? So the character appears invisible.

Not sure what's up with that. But your problem appears different.
