Smooth Down Health Bar

Hello,

After doing a lot of research, I still have not managed to bring down my life bar slowly during damage.

Could someone explain to me in a simple way what is the method to follow.

A big thank you in advance, a little french who starts on Unreal.

Do you need to lower the value of the variable or the progress bar in UI?

fInterp the progress bar percentage or use a timeline track to interpolate the value over X time

If it is UI, you can use two progress bars - let’s say progress bar A and progress bar B. A is going to show actual HP left, while B is going to aim for the value of A. This way you can tweak the speed of convergence and use different color to show damage dealt.

P.S. you can use “reply” or “add new comment” buttons to keep the question clear, so that anyone stuck with the same problem had no difficulties reading this in the future
