How can I use socket snapping?
Hello everyone! I am trying to use sockets with modular objects and for some reason I can't. The objects seem to attach to one another, the A or B selection comes up, but the objects always hold their positions and a "attachments failed" warning shows up. It first happened with a modular set I bought from the Marketplace, but after that I made my own sockets and I got the same results. Any help?
To anyone having the same problem, I found the solution! Select the object, then click the other object's socket you want to attach it to, and it all goes well here. The objects look attached in the World Outliner yet they hold their positions. You have to click RESET TO DEFAULT, the little yellow arrow next to location transform in the attached object's details. And that's it!
