How to disable HiddenAreaMask in C++?

Hi,
I currently have an issue with parts of the player’s camera being reflected in shiny surfaces (see black corners in the screenshot). I can get rid of it by entering vr.HiddenAreaMask 0 into the console, but I could not find a way to disable HiddenAreaMask in code.
Could anybody please point me into the right direction?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
