Datasmith import from Sketchup, actors moving

Sometimes after Datasmith re-import from Sketchup actors move unpredictably.
I did some modifications in my Sketchup source file, export to Datasmith, switch to UE, reimport
After that I’ve noticed that some of my doorframes moved, some disappeared at all
Interesting to note that I didn’t touch them since previous reimport iteration.
I tried “reset overrides” in UE, but this didn’t help
I’ve already seen such issues when my windows handles were floating in space, wrongly positioned and wrongly rotated (at the same time in Sketchup its all ok). I know how stubborn UE can be in such cases: to solve handes issue I had to totally destroy my handles structure, explode it to raw geometry and regroup again, nothing else helped.
I didn’t want this to happen to my door frames.
So I tried this: I deleted one of moved ones and re-imported model again with “respawn deleted actors” option enabled and this helped, they reappeared in right place! Since I didn’t know what to do with disappeared ones I decided to delete all actors related to doors and baseboards (they all are in separate hierarchy and separate layer in my model). So I selected them all and deleted and reimported with “respawn deleted actors”. This time however it all became a mess: now they all are mixed and floating in space next to my room.
Did anyone seen similar things? How can I fix that?
Maybe there is something wrong with my workflow?

BTW: on the third picture, from kitchen on the bottom doors, the door handle is positioned wrongly. At the same time upper handles are ok. In sketchup model they look allright.

Hello.

Due to rapid development during this beta period, I’d first like to request that you please try updating your Unreal Engine, Datasmith plugin, and the Datasmith exporter plugin for SketchUp all to the latest available 4.21 version. (you must make sure that your Datasmith exporter and importer versions are aligned, otherwise issues like this can be common)

Perform a fresh export and import to determine if the issue still occurs. And then if it does, please file a bug report for Unreal Studio here: https://unrealstudiohelp.epicgames.com/s/case-community-page

Thank you.

Again I fixed it myself. And this is not related to UE or Datasmith. Occasionally I moved big part of my model under other part of my model. This can easily happen in Sketchup if you don’t look into Outliner. I.e. you copy something (that you think is small, like lamp), but actually you are on the other level hierarchy and you can easily miss it and copy room instead. Then you go to other part of the hierarchy, where you intended to copy your lamp and paste your entire room in this place. If this happen without actual moving geometry, simple reparenting operation, it’s easy to miss. And then bring it to UE and everything is messed up. This is what happened to me in this case.
