Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Child Static Mesh not Attaching to Parent in BP

If you add a skeletal mesh that has animation and in the BP component section and then attach a static mesh as a child, normally the child will follow the parent.

I do not know what happen, but this is now the second blueprint where they are not attaching.

In the attached screenshot you can see where the tusk are not following the elephant as he sways back and forth while idle.

Can you think of anything that could cause this?

If anyone else is having this issue, i believe you have to attach the static mesh(tusk) to a socket on the parent skeletal mesh. If the parent is a normal mesh then you do not have to use a socket.
