Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Steam Overlay on Mac

I've been experimenting with the Steam SDK on macOS and have run into a few problems I was hoping to get some guidance with.

I can't seem to get the Steam overlay working with my packaged game whether or not it is launched through Steam. I have read that in the past this has been a known issue. Is this still not available on Mac? Are any other Steam features missing on Mac?

I also noticed that my Unreal Engine 4.21 includes Steam SDK version 1.39. The latest SDK available from Steam since January 2018 is 1.42. Should I update this manually or just leave it?

Please let me know if you have any advice.
