[4.21] Deferred Decal Render Issue

Hi fellow unreal devs. I’ve got a weird issue that hopefully someone can help with… I upgraded to 4.21 and I noticed when I drag a “deferred decal” into my level it causes the entire visible screen to have a pinkish translucent overlay. This project was okay previously in 4.20 and I am not sure if something else is the cause or this is a bug… the deferred decal in question is nothing fancy, it’s a bullet hole with a normal translucent blend mode and translucent decal blend mode.

My project is VR based and setup is AA: MSAA, Forward Rendered, Instanced Stereo… the issue occurs both in my Unreal Game Editor and in game itself, please see a screenshot below. The graphical issue is only present when the decal is visible, so if the character turns away from it then the issue is no longer present.

Any ideas?

Issue (occurs both in editor and in game preview, only when decal is visible to player, when not in view-able area the issue does not occur)

Hi, did you find the solution?
