Cave Inside/Outside Lighting

I want to create caves but first I need to solve this lighting issue.

In this state, it doesn’t look natural, it’s too bright from outside. And when in inside, the outside needs to look bright but it doesn’t. Does anyone know how to make this or know tutorials specifically about this?

games are just smoke and mirrors.

I would have an image of the cave from outside fade in when you walk out. and would have the inside of the cave as a streamed in map on call.

There is no need to bake the cave’s lights with everything else.

maybe the issue is in the rock meshes u r using for your cave , or try Build lighting

They’re from Soul Cave of Epic Games. The meshes are not like that and I built lighting many times.

I don’t know exactly what you meant but I still need how to build the light from inside the cave. outside needs to look brighter.

I mean the cave and the rest of the world should be 2 different maps.

You bring them together through level streaming.

And since they would be 2 different maps you can setup their lights independent of one another.

Do you know some detailed tutorials about this, not basic?

just google “UE4 Level Streaming” and you’re going to find everything you need right away.

I searched and tried some things. Tried to make invisible while entering the cave and loading the cave after the transition map. But there is still a lighting problem. When you enter a cave, it is still the main world’s lighting. When you load the new level, it’s okay but it’s different like black and white.

Hi!

Well your problem is the lighting but you haven’t shared ANY information about your settings…
Could you tell us your approach? What are your settings, what lights you’re using. what volumes you’re using… …
