Tree becomes translucent close to

Hi Everyone, I’m having a weird issue I’ve never experienced before. I have a tree mesh that’s placed in the world as a static mesh, however on approaching the tree in-editor and in-game, it becomes almost translucent. I’ve been messing with LOD settings and have perhaps messed something up but i can’t see to fix. Has anyone experience on how to fix?

If you downloaded the Asset, there might be something in the material setup to do this
Even though it looks strange anyway. it seems like a mask with TAA dithering on a translucent material
