Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can unreal work in Linux?

Hello, I am a student and my windows computer every time gives me more errors with the programs I need. That's why I had thought about using Linux from now on, but before making the change I need to know if Unreal would work. Thank you

UE4 is also running on Linux. But my personal advice would be not to expect developing on Linux to be more comfortable than on your current OS. If you want to give it a try, you'll find a good starting point in the documentation.

As an alternative you could try to adjust your log levels to an amount that better fits your requirements, but as you might get away with ignoring warnings you should not try to do this with errors as well in general.
