I used twinstick shooter template and my character is moving in xy axis in all for directions, but I want character to have the same movement, but in yz azis,how do I do that?

Sorry if I did poor job in explaining myself, please say if I need to be more clear.

However all of that is not needed if I can use Y for gravity instead of z for projectiles
This is basically what game is like now. Sorry for caveman drawings, it is prototype. projectiles are supposed to go down to the road frome the bird(red line). but even with 0 gravity after a while they go down to the opposite direction from the player. (z axis)
