Why in fortnite battle royal, everytime i am in the snowy part of the map it jiffers and makes me glitch?

every time i’m in the battle royal mode in fortnite, when I go to the snowy part on the map. I jiffer and glitch. I go side to side a little when I walk and I can hardly jump sometimes. Its so annoying cause its nearly impossible to play. please fix this
