Will This Rig(?) Work if Imported (FBX) Into Ue4?

Simple question, will this rig(?) work if imported into unreal as an FBX Skeletal Mesh?

I didn’t have time to see the video in detail but I can tell you it won’t animate if it doesn’t have an armature and it didn’t seem to have, I don’t believe the empty objects can import into Unreal and I’m sure the modifiers won’t import, so your best option would be to replace the empties by bones, I think that could be possible (as I told you I didn’t have time to see the whole video but I can guess what did the guy do to move the joints).
