  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog

One License Installed on 2 Home Computers

Hey Epic Team,

I was really just curious on whether or not I was breaking any rules by installing my licensed copy of Unreal Engine 4 on my second computer so my girlfriend could learn the engine while watching me. She does not work in this field, nor has she the schooling for it. She's quite interested in learning with me just to broaden her skill sets but I feel a second subscription of $20 would be a waste. In the near future, if she does get quite comfortable with the Engine and would like to pursue a possible career in the field, we will pick up another license :-D. I just really wanted her to get a feel of what Game Engine Life is like while being able to follow along side me while learning 100% of the way instead just watching. Thank you for your time.

Showing people how to use the editor is perfectly fine. However, if she will be working hands-on with the engine, you will want to get her an account. Remember, you can pay once, cancel and keep the engine forever; You would not necessarily need the latest version to learn on and, in the future, if she wanted to get an update, you can continue the subscription at any time. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
