How to make my post process get darker at night?

Hey all, I have a fairly simple day/night cycle and a clock. But for some reason at night my world is still very bright. I’ve tracked this down to my post process settings but I can’t just change the numbers arbitrarily cause then my days are too dark or my nights are too bright.

Is there a way to have this happen at runtime with bps? Just set the min/max brightness to different settings depending on the time? Like a slow fade on a time table or something. Is there a way to do it without messing up too many things cause I’ve made an entirely custom cell shaded post process volume and don’t wanna mess it up.

thanc

Edit: Changing the min/max brightness makes my moon and lights darker which I need to stay bright so lights can actually do something at night.

Take a look at the eye-adaptation settings to see if they are your actual issue:

By tuning Min EV100 and Max EV100, you may be able to solve your problem without having to adjust post-process in real time.

That makes everything darker/brighter though so I can’t use that. If I increase the min brightness it makes my sun, moon, stars, lights and everything too dark to even take effects which makes lights do nothing and vice versa with it being too bright at night.
