Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

i want to make an animated texture the that makes a button appear progressively

i want to make these nodes usable in with UI elements( i want to make the whole UI of the game Animated) ,when changing the user domain to User Interface the first two nodes in blue dont work on it, so all i want is replacements for them

Firstly, if you want to use it on UMG or Slate, you have to change type of Material Domain to User Interface

Material -> Material Domain -> User Interface

Set this material as a Image on details panel that you change image child.

After that, you can create a material instance of these type and set image brush via using material parameters will be changed.

I'll try it, Thanks! but im not sure that you get me, i know i have to set the domain to UI but when i set it the first nodes(Local position, andObjectLocalBound) dont work with UI domain, so what im asking is how can i make a UI material that Appears progressively, just like like using mask in Adobe After Effect. If there is an article or video that teaches me how to control masking and animating it in ue4, hope you understood i really suck with explaining XD

So this helped Alot!!!!!!! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV_MmcfZ5IQ ) and i controlled the "mask" value via Material Parameter Collection, but it would really help alot to find something that teaches me how to make these mask because there is another mask the dosnt act like that (a wosh from left to right) but another way the is more complex so please anyone?? XD
