How to make a material like this?

Hello everyone,

I want to make a window material but it shouldn’t be transparent and it should reflect the world like in the image. How can I make this?

There are a lot of tutorials online about glass and reflective materials. I am not an expert in materials myself, but I can’t see why we wouldn’t be able to look at a tutorial like this and change the components around to match the darker “glass” you want.

It is also best practice to put the troubleshooting steps, the issue you are encountering, etc… to show the work you’ve done so far. The question here is almost asking the community to do the work outright. Please don’t take this personally, the community is just more likely to help.

I did search some tutorials on the internet of course :slight_smile: but I couldn’t get that kind of reflection. I’m a beginner at materials. Maybe, it is something related to post process, I don’t know :slight_smile:

You can use a texture to “reflect” or you can use a reflection capture actor placed in the scene.
