Expose Material to Set Outside of Blueprint?

I have multiple actors in my level that I’d like to set different materials to inside of the editor instead of inside the blueprint.

Is there a way I can expose the material slot so I can change it in the details tab?

the materials show up in the details tab by default. you may have to select the particular component that you want to change however. with your actor selected, if you look at the top of the details panel you will see a section which list the actors components. if you select a component on the list then you can change the components material in the details panel.
