4.4.1-preview & 4.4.0: Right mouse scrolling in blueprint causes mouse to go crazy. Scrolls to random places

Using UE4, 4.4.0-2237849+++depot+UE4+Releases+4.4 OSX 10.9.4

When scrolling a blueprint with right mouse very often everything jumps out of view, mouse pointer becomes hidden and resets to top left of view. Sometimes it doesn’t reset to top left view and reappears somewhere else on a random monitor in my multi monitor setup. Sometimes it just goes crazy and moves down side bar to left clicking on random items in bar.

4.4.1-preview does not fix this issue.

Hi tebruno99,

First can I ask for usual things, a system profile from /Applications/Utilities/System Information.app and project logs from ~/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/.

With video you’ve posted that should help us reproduce issue on a similar setup, since we need to do that before we can identify cause and fix it.

Your video looks like a problem with emulation of Windows RawInput used on OS X when dragging around viewports which is different from problem addressed in 4.4.1, so unfortunately 4.4.1 won’t help you.

Ok here are logs and spec

I am still getting this weirdness but it seems to have calmed down a bit if I don’t use multi-monitor.

Hey tebruno99,

I just wanted to let you know that we have not forgotten you, and we will let you know when we have some information for you about issue. Thank you for your patience!

After a lot more playing with it it I believe I may have some more info. It appears that this bug only happens when I have 3 display setup.

1080P on left, 2560x1440 in center, and 1080P on right. I can consistently produce issue while all 3 are active, but if I unplug one I’ve not yet seen issue occur.

Having main editor in center, and blueprint editor on right hand side is main case for this happening. (Nothing even on 3rd display).

Aha! Thanks that should help us diagnose this.

Hey tebruno99,

I wanted to check in and see if this issue still occurs for you after upgrading to 4.5.1. Let us know when you get a chance. Thanks!

Hi tebruno99,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I am marking this post resolved for tracking purposes. Please let us know if you still experience this issue in 4.5.1 (and in 4.6 Preview) and we will reopen post. Thanks!

I’ve used 4.5 and 4.6 for a few days now and I’ve not experienced this problem again. Thanks !
