Importing an animation with blendshapes into Unreal (from Maya)
I'm working on a film project, and we need to import an animation that has blendshapes (made in Maya). However, we only succeeded at importing them on the skeletal mesh (so we can see the morph target previewer), but when we import an animation, the blendshapes do not work in the animation in Unreal.
These are the steps we follow to export: - Delete namespaces - Select Blendshapes and bake animation - Select bind and bake animation - Unparent bind root - Delete FK, IK, LOC and constraints - Select all joints and export
We also tried many other ways, but nothing works. So, basically, I'm wondering how to do this properly?
