GPU Acceleration for Physics (clothing, destruction, particles, etc.)

Ok. We all know that UE4 is using PhysX for Physical Simulations (including Cloth, Destruction and Particles).
I’m pretty sure that GPU particles also works on Radeons (since all next-gen consoles using AMD solution it would be odd, of GPU particles worked only on NVIDIA GPUs) or am I wrong here ?

What more intrest me, if the APEX Cloth and Destruction also will be accelerated on non-NVIDIA GPUs. It would shame if they don’t. Many people (including new consoles), are using AMD GPUs, and it would be shame to not allow them to utilize full power of next-gen tech (yes I consider cloth sim much more important than particles, from immersion stand point). There nothing more annoying and breaking that rigged and skinned cloth robe, that deform like pants.

GPU particles in UE4 do not use PhysX. They are a custom, cross-platform solution that does not depend on any library or any particular GPU.

I’m going to include someone else to tackle your physics questions
