Pivot Painter 2.0 Hierarchy wrong pivots and axis
Hi, I'm new the the pivot painter tool and have problems getting it to work right. I've tried multiple approaches with different meshes and it will only give me the first or the second wind level, not both. It appears to be a similar issue like in this post: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/805197/view.html but I'm already using the default UV channel...
Am I doing something wrong or overlooking something important? Here are my steps: (I'm using 3ds Max 2018) 1. set 3ds Max units to generic and cm (like described in the docs) 2. detach all elements 3. set pivot location and x axis rotation (tried automatically and manually) 4. recreate bounds 5. process selected objects hierarchy 6. export model 7. import into unreal and change settings like described in the docs 8. shader setup (also tried using the existing ones from the content examples) 9. assign baked textures
I was able to get both levels to work (partly right) by only assigning the baked pivot pos texture and leaving the x vector texture as the default, but it doesn't look too good.
I'd be really glad for some help here!
